Wear dress of ihram then perform two Rakat sunnah for ihram before crossing boundary of Meqaat.

For an example you can wear the dress of ihram from:
(a) your home.
(2) hotel in Medina,
(3) Masjid-e-Meqaat,
(4) in Airplane, your flight direct to Jeddah Airport.

• Perform two rakaats of Ihraam, with the head and shoulders covered.
• In the first rakkat recite Surah Al-Kafiroon’ and in 2nd rakaat Surah Al-Ikhlas. (Mustahab)
• Males should remove their head cover and not cover the head until free from Ihraam.
• You are still NOT in the state-of-Ihra’m, but READY to enter.
• Remember, before crossing the border of Meqaat you must enter into the State-of-Ihra’m.
• If you are traveling in an airplane, staff will announce before crossing Meqaat.
